Well, it has been a while since I posted anything.  Lots has been going on around here.  All of my tests came back normal for my heart.  So I am left with high blood pressure that evidently is just the result of heredity.

We took Jacob in for his tests on Friday.  The scope pictures showed everything was normal, but the first test that we have results for shows evidence of reflux.  So the doctor started him on a prescription for that.  We are waiting on the results of the pancreatic enzyme test to come back. We should have those results by the end of the week.

On another note, we understood Dennis and his unit would not have to do an AT this year since they went to New York City to help with the Hurricane Sandy relief effort.  Unfortunately, on Tuesday he found out his unit is being called on to do an AT because the water unit that was supposed to do it is not for some reason.  So that screws up all our plans.  He may even miss the children's dance recital - depending on when it is.

With a school at the last two weeks of July and everything else that is going on, it looks like this will be two summers in a row that we will not get to take a vacation.  Last year it was because of the move.  This year it will be thanks to Annual training and schools.

It also appears that we will not be attending ANY homeschool conventions for the same reason.  That really makes me sad.  I truly enjoy the conventions and getting to see, touch, and examine different curriculum choices.
